Gerry Gillespie has over 30 years expertise in the recycling and composting industries.

With a strong connection to community asset based, not for profit organisations in Australia, New Zealand, South-East Asia, the USA and the UK, Gerry is recognised as an international expert in organic waste reprocessing, soil carbon and community engagement and education. Gerry is also a member of the Zero Waste International Trust based in London.

Gerry is widely regarded as a pioneer in resource recovery solutions, economic development and related systems analysis.

Gerry previously spent 21 years in senior Government positions including the ACT Department of Urban Services and the NSW Office of Environment and Heritage.

Gerry specialises in organic waste reprocessing, soil carbon, systems analysis and community engagement and training.
