These internationally recognised standards help us work more efficiently, meet legal standards and improve how we operate every day. They mark a significant milestone in our commitment to continually improving services for local government partners and communities across Australia.

“This achievement reinforces our promise to partners and stakeholders. We deliver services that meet the highest quality for safety, environmental care and performance,” said Matthew Curtis, General Manager of Resource Recovery Australia.

“ISO certification demonstrates that our systems are robust, trusted and built for continual improvement. It’s a foundation for deeper partnerships with councils who want professional, values-aligned services for their community,” said Matt.

The certifications were awarded after a thorough independent audit by SAI Global and are a mark of trust for our customers, partners and community.

The ISO certification recognises RRA’s adherence to international standards in:

  • Environmental Management (ISO 14001:2016)
  • Quality Management (ISO 9001:2015)

Resource Recovery Australia operates across 14 waste management facilities nationwide. We operate Community Recycling Centres, Reviva Reuse Shops, The Tinkerage workshops and manage transfer stations, weighbridges and landfills in partnership with local councils, supporting the community to divert significant amounts of waste from landfills. These facilities enable us to repurpose materials, manage waste efficiently, and provide jobs to those facing barriers to employment, enhancing environmental sustainability and community outcomes.
