Mobile Community Recycling
Mobile Community Recycling provides a safe, convenient and FREE way for residents to recycle items that don’t belong in the bin.
The first NSW EPA-approved and licensed mobile collection service.
The Mobile Community Recycling Service (MCRS) is available to residents of Cumberland City Council and Blacktown City Council. The service aims to provide an easy and convenient way for residents to recycle or safely dispose of household problem wastes including; gas bottles, fire extinguishers, paint, batteries, oils, fluoro lights, smoke detectors and electronic waste (E-waste). MCRS also helps reduce the risk of garbage truck fires by keeping problem waste out of bins.
Resource Recovery Australia also manages the City of Sydney Doorstep recycling service. A free weekly collection for City of Sydney council residents to recycle clothes, batteries, polystyrene, electronics and other items from their doorstep or apartment lobby.
