Container Deposit Scheme
The Container Deposit scheme plays a vital role in reducing litter, promoting recycling, and providing tangible benefits to both individuals and community groups.
10.5 million containers and counting…
At Resource Recovery Australia (RRA), we are proud to be part of this initiative, processing over 10.5 million containers last year alone. Our automated depot at Tuncurry Waste Management Centre makes it easy and efficient for you to return eligible containers and claim your 10-cent refund for each one.
By recycling your bottles and containers at the CDS, you're not only helping to keep your environment clean but also contributing to the circular economy. The scheme supports local economies by providing an additional income stream for individuals, schools, sports clubs, and community groups.
Whether you're looking to raise funds for a cause or simply do your part for the planet, the CDS offers a simple and rewarding way to make a difference.
