Our Services
Waste and Resource Recovery
By providing specialised recycling services we can reclaim materials that would otherwise end up in landfill, helping to reduce environmental impact and promote sustainable waste management practices.
Expanded Polystyrene (EPS)

Expanded Polystyrene (EPS) is comprised of 98% air and is made from a non-renewable resource –oil. It is a lightweight, rigid plastic that is used widely for packaging.
EPS can be recycled into high order reuse products including park benches, children’s toys and even insulation diverting precious resources from landfill.
Mattress Recycling

Mattresses are large and take up valuable space in landfill. They are also filled with recyclable products. We manually strip mattresses to recover foam and steel for recycling.
For specific fees and charges, contact your local council.
Non-Ferrous Metals
Non-ferrous metals are more precious and have a higher recycling value compared to ferrous metals. We separate and send non-ferrous metals like brass, aluminum, copper, lead and zinc for recycling to maximise value and recycling outcomes.
Decontamination of Garden Organics
At several sites across Australia, Resource Recovery Australia helps reduce contamination in kerbside collected garden organics (GO). Our experienced team carefully sorts incoming loads from garden organics trucks, picking out and removing any non-organic materials like plastic, metal or rubbish as well as other non- conforming contaminants. This ensures only clean, green waste goes through for composting, helping create a high-quality end product that’s safe to return to the earth.
