Community Recycling Centres

Our Recycling Centres help the community manage waste responsibly, reduces landfill and promotes recycling awareness.

These permanent drop-off centres allow the public to dispose of common household problem waste safely and free of charge.

Our highly trained RRA team members work with the community to foster a culture of sustainability and environmental awareness.

The following items are accepted at our Community Recycling Centres:

  • BBQ, helium gas bottles and fire extinguishers

  • fire extinguishers and smoke detectors

  • tins of paint

  • household and car batteries

  • motor and cooking oils

  • fluro globes and tubes

  • range of e-waste – computers, televisions and mobile phones

Container Deposit Scheme

The Container Deposit Scheme (CDS) is designed to encourage container and bottle recycling by offering a financial incentive for returning eligible beverage containers.

Mobile Community Recycling Service (MCRS)

Our MCRS service makes it easy for households to safely dispose of problem or difficult waste such as batteries, gas bottles, paint, oils, e-waste and textiles.
