Reviva Reuse Shops | Clarence Valley Council and Resource Recovery Australia

The countdown is on to the official opening of Reviva Reuse Shop Grafton, with Clarence Valley Council recently sharing a fun video featuring Mayor Smith exploring the shop and some of the treasures waiting to find a new home.

Produced by the Clarence Valley Council communications team, the video highlights the important role reuse plays in reducing waste and keeping valuable resources in use for longer.

Reviva Grafton is operated by Resource Recovery Australia in partnership with Clarence Valley Council, helping give pre-loved items a second life while creating local jobs and opportunities through RRA’s #WASTE2WAGES social enterprise model.

Behind the fun is an important message: every item reused is one less item sent to landfill, creating environmental, social and community benefits for the Clarence Valley.

Since opening its doors, Reviva Grafton has received fantastic support from the local community, with residents embracing the opportunity to donate quality pre-loved items, shop sustainably and support a more circular local economy.

We’d like to thank Clarence Valley Council for their ongoing partnership and for helping spread the message about the benefits of reuse through creative community engagement.

The official opening of Reviva Grafton will take place on Wednesday 12 August at 10am at the Grafton Waste Transfer and Recycling Facility, 263 Duke Street, Grafton. We look forward to celebrating with the Clarence Valley community.
