Our leadership team
The 80+ person strong RRA team is led by our General Manager Matt Curtis and Deputy General Manager Ally Glendenning.
Meet Matt Curtis – General Manager
Matt joined RRA as a trainee in 2005. He’d been unemployed for six months and was registered with a job search provider when he first interviewed for the job. He worked as a shift supervisor, leading hand, supervisor and area manager before he became a General Manager in 2019.
Matt’s hands-on, frontline experience helps him to understand, plan and create solutions that are cost-effective and keep waste out of landfill while creating meaningful employment opportunities. He has extensive experience in all aspects of waste operations from safety to driving machinery, site design and set up, financial controls, contracts and community development.
Meet Ally Glendenning – Deputy General Manager
Ally, our “Queen of reuse shops’, is a passionate repurpose advocate with a background in retail and interior design as well as the waste industry. Ally’s vision for how a reuse shop should look, feel and operate is becoming a benchmark for all RRA reuse shops.
She designs RRA’s sites to make the most of the available space, ensure maximum waste diversion and create an exciting, fun shopping experience.
