Volunteering what’s in it for me?

As a not-for-profit social enterprise Resource Recovery Australia accepts and welcomes volunteers.

Volunteering isn’t just great for the community, it’s great for the you too.

As a volunteer you get the chance to:

– be a part of the team,
– support a circular economy,
– help us divert precious resources away from landfill for reuse and upcycling,
– make a real difference to our community and environment,
– meet new people, and
– give back.
Whether you’re just starting out or have plenty of skills to share, we welcome volunteers from all walks of life.

We don’t expect our volunteers to give up a lot. We would love to see you for a couple of hours a month or several hours per week, whatever suits you and your lifestyle.
