National Recycling Week
National Recycling Week is an annual event to help everyone learn to reduce, reuse and recycle more

Resource Recovery Australia is proud to run events, workshops and services that encourage our communities to reduce their environmental footprint and make the most of our precious resources.  

This year’s National Recycling Week events include:

Rockhampton - Community connect site tour

In this guided tour and morning tea we will connect with other community groups and not-for-profits to celebrate National Recycling Week. Learn how we can work together to reduce, reuse and recycle to move Rockhampton towards a community focused zero waste future.

Rockhampton - Recycling Fair

Saturday 13 November, 8am - 4pm. Join us at Reviva Ibis for a recycling fair to celebrate National Recycling Week. Join us for free family fun including: reuse workshops, upcycling displays, a unique item auction, and face painting. Also onsite to celebrate we have a coffee & donut van and sausage sizzle to support our community.

Noosa - Resource Recovery Centre tour

As part of National Recycling week, join us for this FREE bus tour of the landfill, Reviva reuse shop and find out what happens to your waste. See what else gets recycled and what we can all do to reduce our waste.

Shellharbour - The Tinkerage bonus reuse and repair workshop

The Tinkerage is adding a bonus reuse and repair workshop to celebrate National Recycling Week. To join the fun email [email protected] to secure your spot.
